it’s your time to shine

When I first started my business, I was terrified to go on video. Self-doubt swirled through my mind daily, along with a list of reasons why I wouldn’t and couldn’t do videos. I was afraid of being judged and afraid of making mistakes. Deep down, I worried that I wasn’t enough and that I didn’t have anything valuable or meaningful enough to share with the world.

What I didn’t understand yet was that it really wasn’t about me.

The dream I had of putting myself out into the world was so much bigger than me. It was woven into my purpose and it was my path forward. It was about how I was called to serve others. The light I could bring to the world, by letting myself shine. The way I could help people, encourage them on their paths and inspire them to believe in themselves - if I would only take the leap and believe in myself, first.

I didn’t have the confidence to start doing videos, and I quickly learned that I didn’t need it - I simply needed a little bit of courage. One brave moment at a time, one soul-aligned decision and the willingness to click “go live”, even when I didn’t feel ready. The courage to show up, even when I didn’t feel perfect.

I began showing up consistently, day after day, month after month and in less than a year I had built a beautiful six-figure business that I adore. To this day, I haven’t mastered the confidence piece. I still feel afraid sometimes and I still doubt myself. I’m still me and I’ve learned that it’s being me that is my magic. That’s true for you, too. You don’t need to be more of anything, except yourself.
