Book Overview

Love Is Everywhere is a children’s picture book for ages 3–8 that gently explores spirituality without religion. In the story, a young boy sets out on a mission to find God and, through everyday moments and observations, discovers that God is not something separate or distant, but the love present in all things, including himself.

Written in simple, lyrical language, the book invites children and the adults reading with them to consider love, connection, and belonging in an open, non-dogmatic way. Rather than offering instruction or belief, Love Is Everywhere creates space for conversation, curiosity, and personal meaning.

The story reflects author Tiffany Celeste Frenette’s own journey of redefining the word “God” after growing up in a religious environment that caused harm. Over time, her understanding of spirituality expanded beyond doctrine and fear, becoming rooted in nature, compassion, and lived experience. That perspective shapes the heart of the book.

Love Is Everywhere offers a gentle, inclusive vision of spirituality centred on love, presence, and inherent worth. The book is designed to be read slowly, revisited often, and experienced as a shared, grounding moment between children and caregivers.

With original illustrations by Georgia Lesley and a calm, reassuring tone, Love Is Everywhere is well-suited for families, libraries, and community spaces seeking children’s books that honour wonder, connection, and emotional safety.

The book is shared with the hope that it finds the children, families, and grown-ups who need it. While written for children, Love Is Everywhere also speaks quietly to adults whose inner children are still carrying wounds related to fear, shame, or separation caused by people or religion.
